As you may well know, Sunday is the day for us religious types to praise a higher power.

I was caught up in circumstances that could have easily been avoided, if I would've called and doubled check ahead of time.

Anyways, for the past I don't know how many weeks, Dollar Tree has opened their doors at 9:00 a.m. sharp.

Which is good for the ones who attend church services at 10:00 a.m..

There I was, sitting in my car, waiting for Dollar Tree to open at 9:00 but the lights were off and doors closed. Luckily there was a big stack of newspapers lying in wait.

I was thinking to myself, well... maybe the store's manager is running a little late, but right then I looked up and sure enough, the store hours changed to an hour later.

I share a vehicle. I was pressed for time. I was thinking the unthinkable.

What do you think I did?



Well, I actually waited for the manager to get there, so I missed church. I was thinking about leaving a note, but it just felt wrong.

There were like ten other people, all waiting for newspapers as well.

Since, from your post I gather you were on your way to church, I HOPE I know what you did.....

You decided to wait for Dollar Tree to open, and went to a later service.

I think you went to services and then went back by to get the papers. If that wasn't possible to swing back by and get the papers, I think you took the papers you needed and left the money for them with the other stack of papers.
