Hubs called this morning. Transmission is truck is slipping. He is at his work right now doing a transmission flush and filter change. Hopefully it is just burnt fluid and will hold out till we get our taxes done so he can put a new transmission in. Its been in the works for a while but now it is going to be a have to thing!

Still waiting on one W2. Called the payroll company that it is through and they are going to put in a request for a duplicate. We hate waiting this long. We usually have ours done by now!!!

Hubs called this evening. The bank is foreclosing on the property that his company owns and the company is closing their doors March 1st. Say a little prayer that he finds something else quick!!

Was taking the dog out to go potty, stepped out on the back step, slipped on the concrete and landed on my right knee! I almost went head first into the flat bed trailer! Now my knee is all kinds of fun colors and swollen!!!!

I am just thankful that I have a HBA stockpile to last us a year. With the exception of TP! lol I am even more thankful for this site. IF my hubs stays unemployed for a while (which I hope he dosent) I know I can turn to the fantastic folks on here for the BEST deals around and keep my family fed without depleting our savings!

I'm so sorry you're having a terrible day. I truly hope things turn around and start heading down a positive road rather than the alternative. I do know what you mean, My husband came home from work yesterday around lunch, Said that he had been laid off. Don't know how long or really anything else. He just FINALLY found a job from being laid off for a year and a half, My husband and I have been together for almost 11 years this coming up July. Before last year this has never happened to us, It seemed like FOREVER for him to find a job, Things were looking up we were able to breathe again and with 3 kids this is terrible!! But Like you, I hope our luck turns around, too!! At least we all have WUC!! Huge hugs!! I hope you start feeling better and your colorful knee gets better!!
