Pretty good shopping day!
My DH and I got up early this morning and grabbed our coupon box, our store freezer bags all our tools (scissors, calculator,) and headed out for our shopping day. First Stop: Price Chopper (our first time shopping here). Armed with our coupon storage box we were off - This was a learning trip as we had never shopped there before nore had we ever had the opportunity to shop at a double coupon store! With our new advantage card we got we saved $11.95. Using our coupons we saved $21.70. Our total came to $24.79 our total savings was $33.65. Some of what we got were six of the oatmeal fruit cups, 6 hamburger helpers, 8 Irish spring soaps, 2 bar S hot dogs, and a few other things with smaller coupons so I'd say we could have done better but was much better then we have ever done before!
Next: Target - small trip because they don't carry the wachovia dinners there  but we got two tubes of colgate toothpaste and paid .49.After that: Walgreens - 4 Airwicks mini's 8.49 each BOGO. Used 4 $4.00 coupons and came to a total price of $.98. Colgate Pro Cleaning Toothpaste - Reg. Price $4.99 special deal for 1.29 bought two of those. Chexs mix - Reg. 2.99 - had a 4/$4.00 coupon so came to $1.34 for all 4 as they were on sale for 3/$4.00 Total day = Reg. Price would have been $120.30 we spent $34.28 For a total savings of $89.63! Like I said it's still a work in progress but we were very happy with our buys and had a wonderful day together doing it

Wow! Honestly they were 4/$4 this yesterday and this morning. Wow that is something else. Never had that happen before. Sorry about that!
