Help Price matching?

I saw a post that Walmart will price match other stores like Big lots. My question is how do i get them to do this? Not sure what i need to do are who to talk to. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Well, before, you would have to have the ad with you. NOW, they will price match with "no proof"...Meaning, all the other ads for the week are at the service desk and if you tell them a price, they are supposed to be told all the deals and you won't need to show anything. So basically, for example, if you have toothpaste that is $2.50 at Wal-Mart, but on sale for $1.50 at Kroger, you say " Kroger has this for $1.50" and they have to match it!

At my store I just take the ad when I go to check out and show them the price before they ring it up. They wont do it if I dont have the other stores ad though, so always remember. But it must show what the final price is going to be. Like 4 cokes for $4.

From everything that I have read and by doing it a few times...you must either have a reciept from the other store or have a sales ad to show the cashier.

All stores are going to be different. Take the ad with you always, don't trust they'll believe what you say!

My store also requires proof, such as the Ad from the other store, and I'm pretty sure Walmart policy says that it must state the price, not the discount, on the coupon. (For example, if Walgreen's has B1G1 for the same item, this would not count for the match. Your coupon would have to be a Walgreen's coupon or an ad from their circular (or perhaps the website) stating the item is on sale for $1, then Walmart would match the $1 price).

Walmart is a stickler for policy, so I would definately come prepared if you want to get the best deal! (Btw, they will NOT match the same price at another Walmart location....it must be a competitor's price to qualify for price matching).

Another question: If, say, Wags has a $2.99 get $2 RR back deal doing... If you try to price match at Walmart, will they match at $2.99 or 99c?

Due to budget cutbacks, the light at the end of the tunnel has been disconnected.
