I've seen a few people post that <.25 a roll (regular size) is where you want to be. I know Walgreens has a deal right now where you can make that happen with Cottonelle.

If you were able to grab some of those .50/1 Q then the deal at Walgreens comes to $.17/roll when you do 2 packs at a time which is an awesome deal. I was able to get 12 packs. But anything under $.25/roll is a good deal

The price per roll does not matter, especially these days with so many roll sizes available. To be a good deal the price needs to be under 1¢ per square foot under a half a cent a square foot is a great deal. The Cottonelle at Walgreens just makes good deal in my estimate.
All packages have the square footage on them and you can do the math divididing the number of square foot into the price. Or another way to look at it - if a package has 400 square feet in it, I would not pay more than $4 for that package and would prefer if it were considerably less. What your willing to pay is going to depend on how desperate your need is but I wouldn't stock up at anything more than 1¢ per square foot. Most often you can find Scott tissue near this price even without a coupon or sale. |

Square feet is what I do too...Price per roll is impossible since the rolls are all different sizes. It's too complicated for me to try to figure out how many sheets/roll and rolls/package when you're in the store. Square feet is the way to go. The square footage is listed on every package and you can tell in an instant whether you even need to look twice at it. The Cottonelle is 232 SF and fits the <.01/SF at either $2/pack if you buy 2 w/coupons and get the $3 RR or $2.17/pack if you buy 3 w/coupons and get the $4 RR.

The RA 4 roll pack or their 1000 sheet roll and it is not as hard as Scotts and it's $1.
