For the 3rd time this week, in 3 different stores, I have not been able to use a coupon for this that or the other..

For no apparent reason. Coupon is for the right item..I keep getting..."well the store is cracking down on coupons because of the economy"..

I'm like yes...so you should be taking coupons even more so and gladly, otherwise people will just go elsewhere!!

This happened in:
Kroger
Rite Aid
Walgreens

Now, Walgreens is usually a pain in the rear to begin with..in every aspect, but this was a new one.

So I just wanted to say, that stores need to rethink this not wanting to take coupons..

If, for no other reason I have a big mouth and will tell people not to shop there anymore!

sorry for the troubbles your having, you would think with the ecomony the way it is they would take any amount of coupons, its just like cash.... I hope it gets better for you

I completely understand- since i have been couponing...all of a sudden it seemed like last week, EVERY STORE i went to had issues!!!!Heck the lady at walmart looked at me like i was doing something wrong when ringing me up- She said- "ok, you started out at 42.00 and now youare down to 15.oo, then she called the front end managerover there like i was doing something wrong! and i still had more coupons..." i won't even tell you my reply back tp be nice, but the people behind me started clapping.........

coupons to the stores are better than cash, since they get an extra 8 cents for each one they take. i hope my stores don't start giving me issues.

i would get a hold of corporate and ask them why they are limiting coupons. and if you don't get an answer, go to the coupon companies.

i could see if someone wanted to get several hundred dollars for free, such as using coupons and buying all trial size. but we know enough to do that over several orders in different days and always add other items.

It seems like different stores do this. I've had issues at Walgreens and Target in the last couple weeks. I guess what I don't understand is it's not THEIR money and we're not doing anything illegal. I always exceed the amount I saved with OOP purchases, so do they not want my business just because I clip coupons and save on the things that I can save on??

~Wew~ Now I need a "Virtual Zoloft" after that rant!
