I know I always buy my ground turkey at Aldi and they were on the recall list! I did a check of my freezer (small chest style with no lighting so I had a giant flashlight to help!). Lucky for me I didn't have any in there. The bad thing is I was thinking the other day I needed to get some so I could make some spaghetti! Glad now I don't room in the freezer! LOL

I called my Dillons and the manager said to bring it in for a refund, no matter when it was sold to be on the safe side. I said even if it was manager mark down and he said yes no matter what the price was they will refund it and dispose of it properly! Gonna take mine back tonight.

I have a couple in the deep freeze from Krogers. I will be taking it back tomorrow. Thank God I didnt feed it to the kids....

I had Salmonella in 2000 and my docctor told me you could eat something and not get sick for up 2 wks later.

While I understand Samonella is no joke to have (quite bad I hear), I have to wonder if the person who got sick properly cooked their food. I work in a microbiology department and work with Samonella every day. As long as you take proper precautions you shouldn't get sick from it.

I have about 15 packages in my freezer. This is going to put a big dent in my turkey stockpile. I buy it at Albertsons when they run it for $1 a package. I'm so sad

I bought some from Kroger and we already ate some before we were notified. We now get a notification on our receipt that we bought one of the products. It was buy one get one free last week so one is still in the freezer. We did not get sick (only get sick if undercooked) but we are still taking the other back for a refund.

I got sick from eating chicken at KFC. The piece I bit into was not fully cooked. Sometimes you just don't know if your food is cooked properly when you are not cooking it yourself.
