I've learned that you need a stockpile, even a small one I've learned the store coupon policies better than I otherwise would have I've learned that a little bit of pre-shoppng planning can really maximize savings |

I have learned so much that it isn't even remotely funny. I have learned to stockpile, how to use coupons to get stuff free or super cheap, how to store dried food so as not get or to kill bugs that already be in them, how to shop for the best deals, where the best deals are and to preview sales. And so much more!

I've always couponed but never knew these things until I joined WUC:
1. Save all coupons that I might need and only spend them if I really need the product or it goes on sale. When its on sale...buy multiples. (Previously I cut coupons to use that week...whether it was on sale or not. What didn't get used...got trashed). 2. Use Q's on clearance items. I don't know why I never did this before.....now I live for clearance and get many things cheap or almost free. 3. Rainchecks are your friend. Save them and try to get more coupons to use with them. 4. Pay very little for health and beauty items. The drugstores allow u to buy items for free. My gdaughters always let me know what they want and I save the Q's and watch for the sales. Fun, fun, fun. |

1. Planning a trip is very important and is an immense time saver.
2. I didn't have enough shelves and I was stacking things wrong. 3. I can make just about anything out of leftovers, a box of free pasta or tortillas, and Philly Cooking Creme. 4. You can never have enough body wash, detergent, toothbrushes, or floss. ~~Mark Twain |

I've learned that coupons + sales= incredible savings.
Before I would use a coupon as soon as I got it. All the while thinking how great it was that I'd save a dollar or fifty cents off of something I was buying at regular price. Now, I go out of my way to find what I need at the absolute lowest price possible and use coupons every time I shop. Just the thought of paying full price for anything makes me queasy ![]() The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other. ~Burton Hillis

I learned so much from WUC. It has completely changed my life and the way I purchase items.
I learned: 1) to use coupons correctly through match-ups made here. 2) to be an ethical couponer. 3) to share, before couponing, I never gave the cashiers anything. Now, I treat them with candy or anything little that I have. It always feels good to give. I can go on forever, but those are my top three! Girlfriend to Sgt. That the 'value' size is not always the best value, particularly when using coupons.
Patience to wait for a good sale to use with my coupons. I've gone ahead and let coupons expire because the product never went on sale. To let go of being upset when an item I stocked up on at a good price goes on sale for even cheaper two weeks later. To be kind, patient and respectful to the cashier right from the start, even if they are defensive. No one wants to feel like they are going to be attacked. A bit of understanding goes a long way. To clip, file and document my coupons as soon as I get them or at the latest, save them to file once a day. Got a Twitter account just to follow other couponers. I can't tell you how many deals I find on there every day. To keep track of my savings. It's a great motivation when I am doing the tedious job of of clipping and filing my coupons.
