What a wonderful thing to do! My son has recently joined the military, and I am becoming more aware of the difficulties they/their families face. Helping them out while the husband gets his feet back on the ground was a very generous thing to do.

I love that Qing allows me to give back!!! Only a month in my sister, who lives paycheck to paycheck, made a mistake in her checking account and her "food money" for two weeks went to her overdraft fees. I was luckily heading up to visit her (we live 600 miles apart) and was able to bring her a bag of everything from hamburger helper to chips to pasta and sauce! It was so good to be able to help her like that and I'm do similar helps at least once a month down in my home state too!

Couponing has become a blessing to my family and allowed me to be a blessing to others! I can't write a check for mega dollars, it isn't in the family budget. But I can go to my stockpile, feed my family, my extended family, my friends and help my community.
Shhhh! Be va-wee, va-wee quiet. Dee is shopping for bargains!

I agree that the ability to give back is priceless. I maintain a box of items that I plan to donate. I always set aside a few dollars that I try to stretch as far as possible to get items for donation. It's been amazing watching it grow.
