While cleaning my bathroom - I managed to flush my phone down the toilet. The phone can be replaced easily enough - but I'm worried about the plumbing - anyone ever have this happen? DH seesm to think that since it made it far enough that it cant be retrieved by hand (gross I know) it must be fine -any ideas?

My guess is you are going to have to get it out some how. You can get a snake at Lowes pretty cheap. If you don't get it out it can build up with whatever materials (TP, feminine products) and clog

I would try to figure out where it went. It might not be causing problems now but it might in the future. A plumbing company would be able to use a camera and find out exactly where it is.

Oh yeah, get it out. Years ago someone? flushed one of those toilet freshner thingies that connected to the seat down the pan. Things were all good until a big NASTY back-up. So the guilty party then had to get out the freshner.........ewwwwww.( it wasn't me) lol

OH NOOOOOO!!! That isn't good. I definately would get a plumber w/a camera because I can see it getting stuck sideways and then.......EWWWW, big mess! LOL

My DD opened the cabinet above toilet right as it was flushing and a deodorant dropped in we had plumber come but it made it thru the lines. Never know tho that's why we had them come out. Funny how those things happen tho
