Secret Shopper..something seems weird.
I actually applied to be a secret shopper. Well the company sent me an e-mailo sayinbg I have a job, They said I will recieve $200 for my salary. So today they send me 2 money orders both for $950. each. The instructions read spend $10 in the store and report back to us, take your salary of $200. And then mail the rest to another person. This seems very fishy. I don't want to do this.I am not cashing the money orders. But, what should I do with them. Who should I report this to? I don't even have a phone number for the company. HELP!!!!!!

This is a scam-when you deposit the fake money order they will then have your acount information and can clean you out-plus have access to your SS#'s. Take these directly to the local FBI office along with the printed copy of al the e-mails involved-they can trace the IP back to the source.

The money orders are from the post office. I was not planning on cashing it really seemed weird.

we have done stories on this exact scam..you will be responsible for the money if it's cashed. Just toss it.
