My poor babies seem to be infested with fleas. I have them on first shield but it doesn't seem to be working. Is there anything that will help kill the fleas on the outside as well as the inside? Are their any home remedies that you guys know of? Please Please Please!!!!

You need to spray your home and yard for fleas and vacuum your house super good on top of giving your dog a flea bath.

7 dust for the yard. Salt for the house..sprinkle all over if you have carpets. We always have to get the stuff from the vets office, gel on the back of their necks. Also the vets office has a spray for around the base boards, don't recall name but it's $20/bottle. Lasts for 4 months.
That is what worked for us after spending over 100+ with the pros and bombs |

Fleas also hate garlic. We have put garlic in our dogs water when the fleas have gotten really bad and it helped. Make sure when treating your house you treat everything your dog touches.. your bed, couches , stuffed animals..etc.
The stuffed animals can be washed then bagged up to kill them off. http://smiley360.com/?refid=53988 (This post may include affiliate links) |

I gave these to my 2 dogs they no longer have any fleas AT ALL. This stuff is amazing. I also sprayed my yard with spectracide bugstop ( 1 dollar at walmart with coupon) For your floors use roach killer (boric acid $5.) sprinkle on floor leave it for a day then sweep it up.
Comfortis is the first FDA-approved, chewable beef-flavored tablet that kills fleas and prevents flea infestations on dogs for a full month. Comfortis for Dogs requires a prescription from your veterinarian. |

I have read that lavender oil repels them so maybe try making a mix of the lavender oil and water and spraying everything down.

We use Revolution on our kitty and it works great. Sometimes if you use a product over and over again your pet builds up an immunity to it.
"The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed." Titus 2:3-5 "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."
