Ok, so last week it was like -20 all week. Yesterday morning it snowed a little and then got a horrible ice storm and everything was a sheet of ice, could not even walk outside or think about driving anymore. Well the temperature raised later today and started melting all the ice. And know I lay here in bed and it's raining, thundering and lighting and were in a thunderstorm warning. I seriously am being to think Iowa's weather has became bipolar. Nothing like experience 3 seasons in 2 days...lol!! Anyone else experiencing this weird whether?

My family in Oklahoma are wearing shorts and flip flips lol. And here in Texas I didn't even need my hoodie until the sun went down. I agree with jm about global warming. It's one thing that is going to come bite us in the @ss and yet it seems to be on the bottom of our worry list.

We had the same, ice storm on Friday, freezing rain last night. Right now it is 47 and going to be 70 later in the week!!!

I always tell hubby all this weird whether has me worried and he just calls me crazy. Iowa is know for bad winters. And we haven't really had a winter the last few years. This year is was 50-60 in December when it's usually in the negative and we only had one really bad snowfall. And last year it went straight to winter to summer and the leafs fells really early this year. Somethings not right thats all I know. And with the bad drought we had on top of hardly any snow yet makes me worry whats in store for us.

Yes, and it's becoming more obvious every year. This year in particular, I've just had an unsettled feeling about the craziness with the weather. When you've lived in the same area for basically all of your life, you just KNOW when something is off with the weather and it's normal rhythm. You can feel it. The atmosphere feels differently, the animals act differently, the birds don't sound the same, etc. It's just very wrong and it worries me too.

Really weird here in Ohio as well. Had a few inches of snow over the weekend, rain yesterday, suppose to be in the 60's today and tomorrow then back to the 20's on Thursday.
