My sister-in-law pays $10 a day but before I quit my job to be a stay at home mom I couldn't find anyone that cheap. I think the cheapest I found was around $20 a day. We don't live as far out in the country as my sister-in-law so that's probably why it is much higher where we are at. When I checked daycares I about passed out over the prices. It is soooo expensive!

I would say it depends on where you live. Some places sitters are hard to find and others are not. Also depends on actually how often you keep the baby. I would say 20 for a full day is a good price, andif you only have the baby a couple of hours cut it down. Also definately go up when the crawling and walkin stage hits, but be upfront about your intenetions about going up when the time comes.
