Idk if you have craft stores out there... But every weekend I get 40-50% off any regular priced items this could be awesome to get lace or ribbons or tulle or anything..!! That's where I would start to help with center pieces

Hobby lobby even has an app so you dont have to print out the coupon. Also check out orientaltrading.com they have tons of stuff on there. They have sales and times to get free shipping with no min purchase. Also look at clearance items at the stores, check local yard sales and flea markets. I've seen some around here that people were selling centerpieces for pennies. And isle pieces, chair pieces, etc.

ValuPak always has some great coupons in it. I know David's bridal usually has a $99 dress sale once a year, but not sure when that is. You could check their website.

Digging out of debt, 1 coupon at a time.....

I would say the first thing you need to do is get a note book or a 3 ring binder and write out what you want.

Pinterest is a great help. Make a board for your wedding, another for your reception.

If you know where you are headed it is much eaiser to find the deals. And you could also post a wish list or you could ask where to find deals. Michaels has the most realistic silk roses you ever saw. My daughter used them for her boquet & bridesmaid flowers. It was funny watching people hand them over for the pictures being so careful not to bruise them.

Michaels has 40-50% off coupons weekly, they have invitations and about most anything else you would need.

Here are some suggestions based on what we did when got married.

We did without the professional photographer. It just wasn't in our budget. We found a good deal on some throw away cameras and we placed them on each table for people to take pics throughout the night. I made my own wedding albums later. If you can't do without the photographer then you might try someone who is just starting out or getting ready to graduate.

We didn't have favors but instead made a donation to the Make a Wish Foundation in everyone's name.

I made our wedding invitations. You can buy kits online, at office supply stores or arts and crafts shops and use coupons.

We didn't order an actual "wedding cake" although no one ever knew since it looked so fabulous! As soon as you say the word wedding, they add on money. We told the bakery it was for a wedding anniversary and we wanted something simple but elegant.

Check Craigslist! Many people spend tons of money on stuff, like centerpiece, card baskets, and are trying to recoop some of the price. You could pay a fraction of what items cost retail!

We have been planning our wedding for 2 years now and have less than 3 months to go! I DIYed everything. It saved us a ton but was very time consuming so I am glad that we decided to have a long engagement. I designed our invitations using PowerPoint and Word and printed the save-the-dates at home to save money and printed the formal ones at kinkos and they looked great. I dont see the point of spending hundreds on special paper and embossing when most peple throw away the invites unless they are close family, and my close family couldnt care less about how fancy the paper was. If you have a party city in your town, sign up for the email list, they will send you 40% one item q's almost every weekend. I would have a bunch of family and friends come with me on Sundays after church to pick up random things I needed and each would use a Q. Hobby lobby has some beautiful flowers that are made of material that really feel like real flowers and they are 50% off at least once a month I also decided to do a candy/dessert buffet instead of favors, and I think that has saved us some money, because I slowly have been buying candy throughout the year when I can get it free or cheap. Overall, keep the guest list small, that is my #1 tip. Little things add up when you are buying for a huge guest list. PM me if you want any more advice cause I have a ton!
