What do you eat New Years Day for good luck?
Every NYD I always have Cabbage or Collard greens and Black Eye Peas to start the New Year right.
A common good luck food in the southern United States, black-eyed peas are thought to bring prosperity, especially when served with collard greens. Asain's believe that if they eat long noodles it will bring them luck. Only if the noodle does not break before it get's in there mouth. What do you prepare? One year I had black-eyed peas (hate them) for luck and it was the worst, most unlucky year I have ever had, so I'm skipping those.lol I'll stick with cabbage. I actually like Chinese food on New Year's, but I'm snowed in AGAIN.

Regular food we might have McDonalds tomorrow for lunch
Its always just me and the kids. Never really did any of those growing up either. Its interesting to read about though.
