Decoration Idea for the table:
Vases filled with Purple or white (Which sorta looks grey) n purple Iris's (This is a ymmv as I'm not sure where you live) & fern (You can probably get this at your local florist for pretty cheap if you don't have any growing in your yard like I do LOL) and don't cut the Iris from the plant until the morning of the reception closer to the time the affair begins as they wilt rather quickly (they'll be fine for the entire day but on Sunday they will begin showing signs of wilting) If you decide to go with the Straight purple Iris get some 1/2"-1" Grey/Silver Ribbon and Tie a Bow to the vase with it. |

I can vouch for the Costco wedding cake - they did ours and it was great. Congratulations.

Boil some pasta (whatever shape you want - I like the three color because it looks pretty) according to package directions. After it is cooked I like to rinse it in cold water to get the extra oil off. Cut up assorted veggies - carrots, bell peppers, cauliflower, broccoli, celery, little tomatoes (whatever that is in season and you like) and throw it in the dish. Only one thing to remember here - bite size pieces (not too big or small). I mix everything together with Italian salad dressing. Whatever brand you like. I like Kraft Lite Done Right (I think that is what it is called). Then I add a can or two of black olives (because I like them and they make it look nice). Sometimes I sprinkle parmesan cheese on top. Voila - pasta salad. Or you can cheat and buy the box mix and add veggies to it. I swear this is super easy to do. Taylorsmom ETA: I also use cucumbers and yellor or green squash. Last edited by taylorsmom; 05-18-2010 at 09:01 AM.. |

UGH!!!!!!! I AM going to Loose my mind!!!!!!!!! DH finally gave in to family pressure, and we will now be having our ceremony under the Gazebo on Friday with a Champange and Cake reception to follow.
UGH!!! Good thing I Never ordered the original decorations I had planned, because now they have changed. I no longer need table decorations since we won't have tables where we are. Now I have to scramble and see if I can find a Minister that will marry us on short notice, since there is not a judge in the world who will have time in his docket to come on location and perform a ceremony at 2 pm on a Friday. I know I shouldn't be so upset about this, The big reason DH wanted to change the plans is he really wants to take me to a 5 star Hotel for our wedding night, and it really means a lot to him, so I'm going to find a way to make all these changes work. I ordered cute little cups that say two hearts one love in silver and I'm going to use purple plates, and we are going to put up the white table cloths from the Dollar store around the pavillion so that we can keep it semi private because we are doing it at the Apartment Complex since they are letting us use the area for free. http://i642.photobucket.com/albums/u...yrslf_down.gif |

CALL the JP... usually the court proceedings are done in the AM the worst he/she is going to say is they already have something on their schedule that day! It never hurts to ask right?!?!
