Walmart The cashier threw my coupons away!
I went to Wal-Mart last night as I had 10 of the $3/5 Mighty Dog coupons left to use and they expired that day.

I bought 50 cans of the dog food and a watermelon to cover the small amount of overage. The cashier scanned all of my coupons and as we were walking away, she scrunched them all up and threw them in her trash!

I forgot to call last night, but I did just call the store and let them know. I told them they are always great with me using coupons so I definitely don't want them loosing money because they are being thrown away. She said that the trash had probably already been taken out, but was very happy I called. She said it was probably someone new who didn't realize what she did but it would be good to know why her drawer would end up being $30 short.

that is insane.. In most stores coupons used are counted as CASH. Poor training leads to things like this happening!

Crazy!! Same thing happened with me the other day at Target. I had to Train the cashier on how to do everything, issue giftcards for the Razors, adjust down the coupons and than he threw them all in the TRASH!! I helled Honey NO!!! He looked like he was gonna cry. I helped him get them out and explain that the store gets paid the money back and makes money etc...Poor thing. You would think they would at least train not to throw them away if nothing else. Good for you for calling!

Yes, I made sure to compliment them with the call too because they really are a great Walmart to shop at. I didn't want to sound like I was complaining because I wasn't, just hoping they don't loose money. I feel bad I didn't call last night and the coupons be saved from the trash.
