Everything is growing just great! I love to see it sprout from seed and then grow and produce. And then comes the picking and canning. Ugh but it's all worth the hard work!

6/6/10 Rain, rain, and oh yes.. more rain. It's rained off an on today. Hope it dries up this week so I can work in the gardens. I have the wonderful job of weeding to be done. blech

My hubby has been gardening since he lost his job. we have tomatoes, lettuce, beans, peppers and pumpkins growing right now as well as sunflowers. lol interesting mix It keeps him busy and will help me out with the grocery bill and come halloween the kids will have a ton of pumpkins to decorate

I went out in the garden just a little ago and I picked green beans, squash , cut more lettuce, and got one egg from our hens .

Oh it's a grand week in my garden this week.. Everything BUT my canteloupe are starting to sprout... Haven't really had a chance to do any weeding since my weather's been much like Foggy's Rain, Rain N more rain.. although I must say even though I haven't weeded all week there isn't many weeds to be had Wohooooo!!!!

Had one cucumber plant covered in blooms.... then a hard rain knocked them all off!


But at least we've got several little baby squash beginning to grow and a few tomatoes...
