I had some tearpad coupons for the Sobe Water that is on sale at Krogers for .50 off 1. Today Batesville Krogers told me that they cannot accept coupons that have another Store name on them, even though they are manufacture coupons. Has anyone else had this problem? I have use them several times in the past and no problem. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this.

Yes, I've had the same problem. I let her call the manager, and then I explained that it has all the manufacturer requirements, just a store logo. The manager will usually sigh and roll their eyes, but tell the cashier to take it.

Thanks Missy, I also tried to explain to the manager that it was a manufacture coupon and she told me that because it has another store logo on it that they do not get reimbursed for them. Do you have any other suggestions to what i can do to find out if these types of coupons can be .used at krogers

I have contacted Kroger's corporate office on this and their policy is NOT to accept coupons with another store logo on it, even if it does say Manufacturer coupon. I went 'round and 'round on this with them and got nowhere. If you are getting them to honor the coupons, I'm so so so jealous!

Wow! I didn't realize they had a policy against it. I guess I'll quit using them then. I'm kind of glad I didn't find out about this until tonight, because I just used (10) .75/1 Amp q's today!

That is ignorance on their part of how coupons work.

I have a manufacturer's coupon that I cut out of a magazine. If I could remember what product it's for, I would know where to find it so I could look at it. But anyhow, it has several store logos on it, and it says something to the effect of, Available At These And Other Fine Retailers.

I wonder what your Kroger store would think of that one?

BTW, we don't have a Kroger here so their silly policy doesn't affect me. But I do have cashiers sometimes not want to accept a MQ that has a different logo on them.

I've neve run across any problem. I know I have used other grocery store logo'd coupons at Walmart without issue as well.

As long as it starts with a "5" I've never had a issue. Of course, I've never run across anyone who actually "looks" at my coupons either.

Well, since it came from Kroger's corporate office and since I'm not the only one who has been given that information I will respectfully honor Kroger's decision. And it is their conscious decision not to accept those coupons, not one based on ignorance or silliness.

I value my relationship with the local stores and enjoy the benefits and free products that Kroger provides. Hopefully, in time, they will revise that particular policy.
