They had the Post-Its and the Avery Label Pads on clearance for $0.60. I had the OLD PDF that did not have a $2.00 limit.

The cashier had no issue taking them, but someone came to relieve her for break & told her she could not take them. She told me I was scamming Wal-Mart. UGH

So, 1st CSM came & said "No, we do not take Internet Coupons" - I showed her my coupon policy. "I would like to speak to a store manager, please"

2nd CSM "We do not take Internet Coupons UNLESS they have a website address that shows where you printed them from." I said "Show me where that says that in the policy." She said "It is the store manager's rule." I said "I would like to speak to the store manager please."

3rd CSM "You need to pay for your stuff so I can get this line open." I said "I will be glad to let you suspend the transaction until you can get a manager up here, but I will not be paying for anything without my coupons being scanned."
She stomped off in a huff.

Zone Supervisor (Did I mention that my ex-husband worked for Wal-Mart for 20 years?????) "Hey, Christy - how are you? How are the kids? Let me see the coupons. Girl, these are on our fake list - we can't use them." I asked "Who created the fake list?" "Scott (store manager who worked FOR my ex-husband when he still worked there)" I said "Tell Scott that I am up here & need to see him now please."

She is trying to page him & I picked up my cell phone - got him on the phone & told him the issue. He said "Are they fake?" I said "HELLO - you know where I live. Would I ever bring fake coupons in????" I told him the web addresses where I printed them - he LOOKED THEM UP to be sure they were legit & said "Let me talk to Grace" Handed ZS my phone, listened to her side of the conversation..... she asked me "Do you care if we adjust them down to 60 cents?" I said "Whatever you think is right. even though Wal-Mart will be reimbursed the full $1.00 each plus the handling fee."

FINALLY checked out......


Ugh......... why do ***I*** have to train every CSM & Manager in Wal-Mart???????

I was trying to use the kraft $5 q at walmart today and when she rang it up It only gave me $2 credit. She had to enter it manually. She was really nice about it though thank God..(:

YOu go girl! Good for you that you stick up for your rights as a coupon shopper! I cannot believe some of these people and places , you would think it was coming out of their pocket. They should have given you the full 1.oo amount though, that is what Target has been doing to it's customers and Wally World should not do that either unless they don't mind being in the news . In essence they are taking money that was yours. Good for you for standing up for yourself and your leigt coupons!!!!! I think i will go to Walmart now! heheh

great shopping experience at Wal Mart today...I wanted to shake my cashier's hand...

it's sad that you have to go through all of that to use a legitimate coupon. if your husband hadn't worked there, you wouldn't have been so lucky. if you can call that luck.

I love that you did that. I had a very similar thing happen to me at Target in the past, but before I got to the register a cashier walked up to my cashier and wispered in her ear to watch me " she's a scammer" I asked the girl what he said and she gladly told me, I was so offended by his comment that I walked over to him, I demanded that he and the manager stand there while I check out, my total went from $146 to $1.16....I looked at him and I said, " I'm not a scammer, I'm just a smart shopper" Then, I went home still heated and I called Corporate and I told them the situation and I said that I am always looked at as a theif but for him to tell a co-worker that I'm a SCAMMER is defaming my character and I want the issue addressed ASAP. I later received a letter from Target stated that they did deal with the issue and they enclose a $100 Visa gift card....weird huh ? Why not Target ?. That's my rant about the insults !!! Ive had it !!
