At the bottom of each post and each reply to that post is a small button on the left side where you can click a Thank You if the post was helpful to you.

I know personally I use those thanks to better understand what type of posts everyone is looking for and it lets the poster know that they are appreciated for their input into this forum.

Exactly!!! The 'thanks button' also adds to your reputation...which are those little green squares under a user's mood.

I know I love getting thanks when I post and I always try to give Thanks! Plus I do love watching those little green boxes grow and love the $ sign too.

This is a pet peeve of mine. Please make sure and say thank you when someone posts something helpful to you.

I usually say thanks to most every post I read. They took the time to post it, I am thankful for their input.
Sometimes, that's the only way I know you have replied to me, I don't keep track of ALL my posts , so if you want me to reply hit thanks!

Sometimes I will reply to a post and forget to thank the poster, but remember later on and come back and do so. It's not intentional. I just get in too big a hurry. Please feel free to say "hey squeaky, did you forget something?".

I agree. I am very disappointed because I just saw someone who's been here for over 6 months with almost 1000 thanks for themselves, but never not once gave a thanks out to anyone else.
