I Got an INFRACTION! Help!!

No freaking out! Our infraction system is a way for us to gently remind users when they have done something that violates the Terms of Service, our Code of Conduct or other rules/regulations that we have at WeUseCoupons. Our Administrators & Moderators are the only users that give infractions. Your first infraction probably will expire quickly. We do not have a system that leads to automatic banning when you receive a certain amount of infractions, but repeat offenses will eventually come to the attention of a moderator or administrator for action. Infractions will go away with time, so don’t worry about being branded for life!!

We encourage you to read the Terms or Service, and all other rules in on our site, so that you will in compliance with the guidelines we set out!! The following are common reasons for receiveing an infraction:

Discussing Improper Use of Coupons
Inappropriate Language
Insulting Another Member(s)
Link Violation
Posting Spam
Signature Violation
Trading Violation
Unethical Behavior
Other Violation of Terms of Service

We want to again say that rule violations are not a frequent occurrence, but they do happen. Most members are respectful to one another and follow the rules. Some just don’t know the rules!!

All members will receive a warning in some form. We will fix the offense, but most likely send you a PM reminding the user to read the rules. Once a warning has been given, infractions will occur.

Of course we hope none of our members will ever need to get an infraction. But as the board grows each day we realize that it's bound to happen from time to time.


USERS:
Often staff will miss something. With the board growing everyday we look to our members for help. If you see anything that you view as a rules violation please click on this - -icon which can be found in the right hand corner of each and every post. A message will be sent to one of our staff members for review.

If you feel that you have been issued a warning or infraction in error please contact a site administrator for review.

We feel that these rules will help keep our community running smoothly. If you ever have a question about any of these rules or how they apply to you please contact any moderator or administrator with a question.

Also, with this being said, we are not here to police you. Good common sense should prevail. Personally I am not into Big Brother and monitoring what people say. However, this site is a reflection on not only coupon users as a whole, but site owners and administrators. Currently there is a lot of publicity regarding Mr. Coupon and this site. My publicity is starting shortly here in Michigan (will get to that later). I or Mr. Coupon do not want to known as "oh that is the site that encourages people to do things that are wrong".

I am a member of other sites, but I am not an admin for them. The thought until I became and admin was.."whatever you want to do its your judgement". Well here..we kind of have to be the moral police because in the end it reflects on Mr. Coupon and myself, along with the other moderators here.

So please..use judgement in what you post and know that we are not looking to get anyone in trouble.

My Coupons are my American Express Card - Don't leave home without them!

I think that it is very important to be working within the guidelines, respecting others/stores/employees, and enjoying the privilege given to us all to utilize all the coupon networks and stores granting coupon usage! Learning as we go, well, we might need correction!

I think this is a site that will become very visited. We do represent a certain group of people. The type of people that best describe us, ........hard working, contributive to society and family and home, and SMART! That is what should be taken away from the TV interviews, the charity giving, correspondence, and the website!

We must stay smart when it comes to what we say and do on the internet anywhere. Before hitting send, ...................I really ponder..is this a positive reflection on me and those who read it? I PM a leader if it is a questionable post to share and before a new thread is out there.
